Establish the needed aperture Using the ring of the diaphragms (1)
Then with a diaphragm pre-installation ring 2 open a lens diaphragm. establish sharpness by turning a distances scale ring 4. Picture made by camera should be sharp on matte glass or a microraster of the viewfinder of the mirror camera. If you have a rangefinder camera the sharpness is ajustied by installation a corresponding value on the distances scale ring opposite to index of the sharpness depth scale. After this it's necessary to reach the required value of diaphragm rotation by turning of a diaphragm pre-installation ring.
If you photograph a number of subjects located on various distances from the camera those use a sharpness depth scale. This scale determines two values of distances within those subjects in a picture are represented sharply for each value of a diaphragm.
The lesn supposes installation of the optical filters which are included in the complete set (optional) with M29?O thread. For this purpose before installation of an objective it is necessary to remove a framed plate from its back and screw an optical filter on its place.

5. RULES OF STORAGE AND OPERATION

Protect the fisheye lens from impacts, pushes, dust hitting, dampness, pollution and sharp fluctuations of temperature. In a time off cover the lens and store it in a case. Protect the clarified surfaces: moisture at long influence can spoil a clarifying film. Bringing the lens from cold to warm, take it in the closed case within 3 hours to avoid fogging the optics. Dust from the lens surface has to be blown off with a rubber pear or brushed away with a clean soft brush. Pollutions should be deleted either with a wadded tampon slightly moistened with rectificating spirit, or with an ether. To clean the lens, follow the circular movements from its center to edges.
Remember, that the fisheye lens is a complicated and sensitive optical device. It's only possible to disassemble it in conditions of specialized workshop.
